The Game Animal Council represents the interests of the New Zealand hunting sector and seeks to improve the management of our precious hunting resources while contributing to positive conservation outcomes.
The Game Animal Council embodies modern principles of game animal management that take into account New Zealand’s unique situation with respect to conservation and our native species.
We provide expert advice to the Minister of Conservation on game animals, are a source of information and education to the hunting sector, and take a science-based approach to everything we do. We promote hunter safety, enhanced public access, hunter-led conservation and seek to improve both recreational and commercial hunting opportunities.
Your donation will go directly towards funding the activities of the GAC and help us secure the future of game animals and hunting in New Zealand.
