The GAC supports the preparation of HOSI proposals by providing information on the HOSI designation process, providing technical advice and liaising with the Department of Conservation to support the development of HOSI proposals. The GAC also undertakes evaluations to ensure that only robust HOSI proposals are endorsed for submission to the Minister for Hunting and Fishing. Read more about the GAC’s role here.
